i think its great that you are asking people but at the end of the day you are the one driving this car. not us. you need to mod the car according to your liking. if you think it looks good on your car, slap them on. if you think they don't then don't get them. everyone will have their own opinion and you will get both sides.

i don't know, personally i would be even more confused after all these different opinions

I have black lines on my AW E90 and it looks better than stock, but doesn't look exactly right to me. One of these days I am going to attempt the conversion to Chrome lines. If you closely at true clear lights the plastic behind the lens is actually chrome. The biggest problem is finding paint that actually looks chrome. I have purchased some and test patterns on scrap plastic looks silver not Chrome. Once I find some that looks good I will start the project.

I think blacklines look great on AW especially.. that's just my opinion. The whitelines are simply blacklines removing the smoked layer of the taillights.

Uh.... not exactly. Look again at your lights. They are optically clear. the tint effect is because there is black plastic in there instead of chrome.

LOL! ive made up my mind: no blacklines for now. not untill i get my AC Schnitzer kit, and my M6 Flagship rims. the problem is im leaving the country for 3 months. so i wont have em really untill september. ill give richie75 a visit here in trinidad as hes got a pair of them and ill see if i can put em on my car. if they look good, ill get em.
