blackline taillight owners: rear taillight bulbs?
I was wondering if any of you blackline taillight owners use red bulbs for the rear taillight? I do not like how it comes with orange bulbs.
I read that 7528 is the bulb code for rear taillights but couldn't find any red bulbs for the 7528 application. anyone know where to get them? also, would getting red LED bulbs cause any fast-blinking problem? I know the front ones do..

yeah... plus i like the idea that it blinks yellow so you can distinguish from a good distant at night who has black lines and who doesn't lol. It's not that bad. If ever.. look for putting red bulbs in the area that shines for the signature bmw lines.

I, for one, will just swap my OEM tails back in for inspection. |

one of the reasons why i got black lines was to get rid of the red turn signal.

My blacklines have silver bulbs for the amber turn signals. I too like amber turn signals over red. I think it's safer as it is more visible over flashing red.

lux.sh is asking to swap the turn signal bulbs from blinking amber to blinking red (like the OME taillights), he is not talking about the white light that 'escapes' from the bottom portion of the blacklines

Most cars these days come with red turn signals in the rear, and I just happen to like that much better. so back to topic, anyone know where to get bulbs that blinks in red(non-LED type)?

So has anyone found out where to get these red bulbs to mask that escaping white light?

+1 White light doesnt bother me much, i am just simply hoping to create brighter lines for the tail lights. I think its possible that the white bulbs do a better job... they illuminate more area than the red... /? i dunno..

The leakage is not bad unless you look down at them from above the car. If you have more leak than that, perhaps your install is not correct. And if this thread makes a right turn into oblivion, so be it... the OP's question was answered.... helpful topical links: bad white light discussion 2323's solution

It doesn't bother me yellow or red. It's for other drivers to see car.
