How to wash car w/ zaino already applied?

Hi all,

I applied Zaino AIO, CS, and then show gloss a few weeks back.

The car is dirty from some rain dirt, and now i want to wash it. So what's the preferred method? Just rinse? will washing it w/ soap and pad take off the CS sealant?

Wash it with Zaino's car wash product...

If you use any other washing agent you risk stripping the Zaino polish off the car. Go to the Zaino website or http://www.autopia.org/ and read up.

Here's a pretty detailed writeup on the proper washing and drying procedures:

If you have any questions on anything written, please let me know.

i just use regular car wash - something that is not abrasive. I found the Meguires NXT wash to be verry good and not $$$$

just DO NOT USE DISH Soap! aka- dawn. dawn will strip all everything from the outside.

comments like this makes me "weary" of Zaino protection. why would another shampoo strip the wax? either the wax/sealant is bad (that'd indicate that people stopped using it, but that isn't happening) or the "must wash with Zaino shampoo" is all hype to ensure sales of Zaino shampoo - the last alternative is the most believable one..

You mean "wary" . Dawn supposedly cuts through all types of waxes and sealants, so Zaino is not the only one. The point is, don't use harsh detergents. Use of car wash soaps, Zaino or otherwise, works fine on a Zaino-ed car. Car wash soap is designed to be gentle enough not to strip wax or sealant.

I Zaino'd my 328xi a week after getting her (in November) and I use Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner every time I wash her. So far I haven't gotten any swirl marks (other then the paint chips from kicked up rocks) and I admire her more and and love her more every time she's clean. I just washed her yesterday and she just $^%&ING SHINES!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to Zaino her again when we get a really nice weekend. I'm wondering though...should I Zaino her shoes too?
