Thinking of ordering e92 335 tomorrow...need some help with options.

Ok well my current 328Ci is for sale but i'm gonna go ahead and order my e92 335 tomorrow anyway. I originally wanted to wait after car was sold but ebay auction ends tomorrow night and i'm sure it will sell.

I still love JB but its such a pain to keep clean so i think i'm going to opt for the AW with coral red interior. Is the premium package that good?

My definitive options right now are the aero lip, coral leather, comfort access, ipod adaptor, and sport package. I got a quote from one dealer who i plan on buying from. I had all of the above option + premium package. MSRP was 46,025 - 1200 discount was 44,825. He said i would be paying 49k OTD which i guess sounds reasonable.

I'm also torn on the navi. Is it worth the extra 2k? So i'm basically still deciding on the premium package and navi. Can you play movies on the navi screen? I know it shows the songs from your ipod on it so that would be pretty cool.

it really depends on u but IMO Premium is NOT necessary. I woul definitely choose Sport over Premium. Nav- depends on how often u use it. It's all personal preferences. I think that if you're even thinking about it, you should get it.

i'm really leaning towards the nav but just wondering what its actual use is beside just using it as a map.

Also whats good about the premium package besides bluetooth and the folding mirrors? Do the mirrors not fold if you dont get premium package?

The mirrors do fold without Premium. THe only think you'll lose is the auto-dimming feature. You can get Assist (comes with bluetooth) by itself for 750 (685 invoice). You can also get leather separately if that's what you want.

As for the Nav, it will also allow u to vent your car, watch movies, voice command, etc. Honestly, just because you said that you're leaning toward it and can afford to shell out $2k(no pun intended), you should definitely get it.

ahh thats what i needed to know...since dvds can be watched thats pretty cool. I think i'll have to get that as well but will have to see if they have one on the lot so i can try out the iDrive. I think i'll go with the premium too...only $1000 more since im getting leather anyway and bluetooth will be handy

umm you cant watch movies on the nav. you will have to get an after market mod to do that. But with Nav you get the idrive and adds lots of customization. Besides it just looks cool with all the settings you change on that big screen. I really love it and all the people complaining about the idrive are the ones who still have 12:00 flashing on their VCRs.

yeah def get nav man you'll be sorry..if you ever wanna change any settings on your car you have to use your turn signal stalk and look at your manual on how to change certain things..it sucks..plus the nav gives you so much more than nav..voice command everything from your radio to the climate control..it gives the car that extra luxury look..those are the reasons i ordered it..oh yeah, plus the nav gives traffic alerts which is pretty cool

Definetly get nav. Real time traffic is great, and as everyone above said, you get to utilize a lot more features. You can't play dvds stock. But with navtv2go you can. A lot of members on this board have it. Search it and you'll find it.

If you plan on getting leather anyways and bluetooth, you might as well get premium. This way you get power seats and Homelink with it.

HOMELINK! That is the shiznit! Auto dimming mirrors. Power lumbar support is nice too. By the time you get Leather and Bluetooth you've pretty much paid for the premium package.

I-drive is so much more than just navigation.
