I saved this poor '04 G35 Coupe :(

Alright, so on to my next "on the side" job

I am no pro and have only been doing this for a short amount of time. If you are new to detailing or you want to get started you can do it! It is not for everyone and it takes a lot of time, effort and $$. But the results are worth it in the end! Good luck

This is a friends G35 that he just had shipped over here from the states. He said he had not washed it since he owned it (he bought it used) but I still almost fell over! LOL! You can see his poor attempt at washing Did more damage than good. Anyways, this was an exterior only detail. I did the engine bay for FREE for this poor car

What was done:

Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes (had to clay some areas)
- Tires were spritzed down with Adams APC and pressure washed
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with Adams APC
- Pressure washed
- Washed with dawn concentrated soap
- Clayed
- Foam wash with Adams Shampoo
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Dried with waffle weave towels and compressed air
- Wheel Wells were dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Meguiar's NXT Insane Tire Shine (he wanted shinny)
- Masked off all trim with Green 3M tape
- 2 Step Paint correction (Prima Cut and Prima Amigo)
- Inspected with halogen and natural sunlight
- Prima Epic to seal and protect the paint
- Rubber and Plastics Treated with Adams VRT
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned with Adams Glass Cleaner
- Headlights were polished

Engine Detail

- Pressured washed
- Spritzed down with Adams APC
- Scrubbed with Boars Hair Brush
- Dressed with Adams In & Out Spray

Interior Detail

That's not detail, that's restoration!!! Nice work - you had your hands full there.

Me too! Damn. Did he use a paper towel and squirt gun to "wash" it?

Great job on the detail! Paint looks new.
