Are you trying to read the codes or clwar them? Im pretty sure you need to use a usb cable hooked up to a laptop to read the codes and see what they mean. But I cant talk from experience, since Ive never used one.

1) The blinkers will flash twice and the speedo will move to indicate how many codes are stored.

2) The speedo will return to zero and begin reading out the codes. Each is a 4 digit number. Note the position of the speedo and reference the photo below to convert them to 0-9 and A-F code numbers. Those numbers can then be searched on this forum.

3) Each code will be followed by two flashes of the blinkers.

4) At the conclusion of the reading the blinkers will flash four times.

5) If the blinkers flash twice, then four times, with nothing in between, you have no stored codes.

You can read codes with or without a laptop! Stick to thread subjects you are more experienced with. Lets NOT spread misinformation.

I really would recommend getting the USB cable. The new JB4 firmware has a full code management menu where you can scan the car, and it displays the codes with descriptions.

Well worth the 30-35.00 bux!

There you go going off assumptions again. FYI, I use my Laptop. I was just Informing OP that codes are readable without a laptop. Factual Info.
