Installed my new Procede today in my E60. I drove to the UPS office last night to pick it up. What a treat! Wasn't expecting it until Monday.

I initially had the reduced power warning and a transmission warning and long crank time to start - cleared the warnings, restarted and got them again. Came in to the house to do some searching and left an email for Robert. Went back out to check things out again and no errors! Let the car run a while, gave it a few restarts and all was good!

Tested my serial - to - USB adapter, routed the USB cable into the glove box and put everything back together. The whole family wanted to ride along on my 3-4 WOT runs to get the auto tune set.

What a blast. The car feels incredible!

I learned my brakes don't feel to good when stopping hard from a couple high-speed runs. I got a long bridge out in the middle of nowhere near my house so it is pretty easy to get a good run with no worries of side streets - just let my Passport 9500ci watch the road for me

I bought just the enthusiast version with a single map. Does that mean I have a Map 0 AND a Map 1? Or will I only have Map 1?

You have both map 0 and map 1.

Forgot to mention...

Mine is an xi and I didn't turn off (on?) DTC. Saw my traction control light come on once and the DSC nearly cut all power - what a weird feeling to punch it and then feel the car stop going forward.

I prefer to hit the dtc button once and reduce the depth of the car's tampering with my power. Try it out and see if you like it.

Enjoy your new toy

I always turn my traction off. Makes for a more exciting ride.

I used to turn off DTC, but my tires have very little tread now.
