Budget CAR JACK recommendations

All,

I recently purchased the alarm kit for my E92 but I don't have a jack to jack the car up to remove the LH rear wheel to install the siren.

I have the BMW jack adapter from Burger Tuning (http://burgertuning.com/BMW_jack_pad_adapter.html) which has a base just under 3".

So, any recommendations out there about what car jack will have a big enough cup to accept the adapter? My preference is to source a cheap option from a local store like sears, autozone etc but I would consider purchasing over the web.

Maybe this one (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...3&blockType=G3) but the cup looks too small for the adapter to sit securely.

Thanks

Got a harbor freight store near you? They are probably going to be the cheapest, but the key is go to the store and pick through what they have. Try it out for smooth operation, etc., before you buy it.

I got the one from costco.
its amazingly smooth, fast, and stable.
also its extremely low profile and can fit under my lowered car.

Something is wrong here.....where are the jack stands?

Is that jack even under the car?

BTW, calipers look great!

That was back in my younger careless days! Actually, the jack pad is on the rear jacking point. That said, I didn't crawl under the car, just jacked it to change the wheels. 8 minute job.
