Shiv,

Sounds like you need to re-do the PROcede install video on your web site...

Hi Shiv,

I am about to order a PROcede for my 335i in Sydney Australia.
  • I understand you need to know the octane my vehicle uses. Down here it is 98. However, I remember someone telling me that 98 octane here is more like your 95 octane there. Is that right?
  • I was thinking about your statement on customs forms. Do you ship the Procede as “a car part”, “granny’s sleepers”, “urgent donated organ” or anything that might attract custom’s interest?
  • From what I have read, I believe there is no reason to wait for version 2 as all current versions will be 100% upgradeable. Is that hardware as well as software? (Oh, do you need a version 2 beta tester Down Under?)
  • I assume I will be waiting about 4 (torturously long) weeks for delivery once I order. Correct?

Cheers,

Simon

a b20? Interesting choice. I used to have a turboed b18 that laid down 286 to the wheels. For some reason, chipped 335i's have been really fast, but not too skilled at laying down fast track times. With all that torque, you shouldnt have any trouble from a roll, but from a dig... that teg might sneak past you (i'd say drivers race)

I got mine Friday evening. I was gonna wait for Sunday to install it with someone who already did his. Couldn't wait, so I did it Saturday. Took an hour and I lost a clip for the MicroFilter.

A clip or a screw? you can get replacment screws from the dealership for $1. Heck, the whole microfilter cover costs $25. I was expecting a whole lot more.

Really?.. that sucks... Yeah my car is at the dealer geting the front fender repainted because when they painted it, it looked like crap (darker than hood)..

Anyway this saturday is going to be all about my baby.. I'm going to clay him, shower him, polish, wax.... Then interior seat cleaning, then conditioning... THEN... THE INSTALL OF THE THE PROcede!!!!!!!!!!!

And then going to see if this place has the rims i want in stock with the tires, and pick them up... it's all about my babe this weekend.. My girlfriend is going to get jelouse!.. lol :rocks: :rocks:

id say the 335 would lose since the turbo b20 is so light, either way go race one and record it.

Even though a Civic or Integra is lighter than a 335i they are both front wheel drive. The 335i is at an advantage with rear wheel drive. The higher displacement of the N54 engine also gives the 335i advantage. The torque peak occurs at lower RPM. The N54 puts out 100hp by 2k RPMs. A turbo b20 puts out 100 hp around 4k RPM.

I would give the race to the 335i, but the turbo b20 would be coming on strong at the end.

I'm from Jersey as well. I know when i ordered them, they were actually speeding up on getting them done and sending. Mine took no longer than 3 weeks. Call them up (numbers on their site) and ask them for an estimate as to when it might be shipped by. Good Luck
