Removed Secondary Cats
Today I removed my secondary cats but I hear no difference in sound on my car (e90).
If I take the muffler off with the cats deleted is it going to sound bad? My setup would be stock downpipes --> no sec cats --> resonator --> no mufflers. I looked on here and youtube for clips on an e90 of muffler deletes and found a few but all had secondary cats still in tact. |

I removed my secondary cats and noticed a big difference. In the process of making a thread with some vids and pics.
IMO, no mufflers is WAY too loud on these cars. I have been battling myself trying to figure out what I was going to do to the stock exhaust and concluded the 2nd cat delete was the best bet. I met up with a member and heard his muffler delete, which aided in my final decision as it was too loud. |
