where to get euro ahl xenon headlights?

is waiting in the for sale section still the best option for getting them <$1000? Seems that most vendors want $1500 for them. I'm thinking about giving up the LCI headlights i have on now since i haven't been able to get them working correctly with my pre-LCI car :/

any idea if euro AHL xenons would need to be coded in even though my car came with AHL xenons stock?

also, how are so many of the headlights on ebay being sold with broken tabs. i took the headlights out yesterday and i guess if you don't support it, it'll hang on the upper tabs and break off?

i can probably get you a used pair from europe for $1200 AHL. if you wanted non-ahl, it would be a little cheaper. I swapped my AHL out for non-AHL. has an error code, but in the process of getting it fixed. I have a connection to a salvage BMW yard in Europe. They would be used, but in perfect working condition, most likely from a BMW that has been rear ended beyond repair.

getting adaptive to work would require wiring throughout the car. it'll be too much a hassle imo.

AHL and ballast shoudl be same.. just make sure its a LHD driver moduls is what i was told..

Didnt you just convert and install these LCI lights by well a famous mechanic OR a shop who knows bmw inside out and he couldnt make them work? I was hoping to see them on your ride by now.. Well shoot, I didint know this was that complicated .

i was told by two folks who have done it successfully was was fairly simple and theres no conversion needed just install all aprts and corner delete...i would bring it back and ask for info how he converted them and request for them to fix bc consumer has plenty of rights. Just make sure to keep your receipt when buying parts or anything from local retail shops.

Sorry to hear they are not working but im sure u will have them fix soon. Call the healdight specialist bro and dont send these kind of projects to a non electrical person. LOL.
