Cool Window tint scratches?

So i am looking at tinting my windows on my 2007 335i. I've read somewhere that in some cases, the tint will scratch when rolling the windows up and down. I have the e90 and i tried to research this here, but can't seem to find any concrete proof.

I will have a private shop do this and they have been in business for the past 20 years. I also had my old, old Subaru tinted and no issues.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.....

Known issue due to the inner guide which has no felt on it. Scratches the tint pretty good, my 08 E90 has the scratches. If you search Window Tint Scratch you'll find a ton of responses and links. The only product I've seen mentioned to fix this can be found at:

Good luck.

Another thing is that if you get some dirt and other debris stuck in the window "guides or channels" while the windows are down, it could also scratch the tint as the windows are being rolled up. I guess I got lucky b/c for the 3 years I had my lease I didnt get any scratches...or at least any that were noticeable
