Another this setup or that setup question...
Ok, its getting down to the wire and here are the main competitors.
Since I have BMW Perf suspension, I will assume the springs are still in good shape even tho the dampers are starting to feel some wear. So, I am thinking of keeping the springs and installing Koni Yellows so as to have adjustable damping. The other idea is that for nearly the same money I can swap the entire thing for Sonic Tuning S1's. I will have stiff springs and more easily adjustable dampers as the fronts can be adjusted without removing the strut bar. So I can dial down to 1 to go see my 81 year old mom for a drive, and leave her house and within 30 sec have back to my regular sportier settings. Pro and Cons as I see it, but need others feedback as well. BMW/Koni: Pros: Decent spring rates and spring rate ratios. Koni is a reputable and proven brand. Cons: A bit harder to adjust the fronts (rears are easy as Ill get external adjustables). Sonic S1: Pros: Everything new, with easily adjustable damping with distinct clicks. Cons: Up and coming and not yet well proven. Odd spring ratios that are stated to work well, but not much out there on them yet to verify. Oh, and lastly, I do NOT need height adjustment, its just not an issue for me. The BMW Perf is just fine, a little lower is just fine too, but I have no need to LOWER or SLAM the car, so that part of the S1 in just not necessary for me. UGH, help help help.

Sounds like you're ready to change your suspension again Fraggy
I don't know a damn thing about coilovers, BUT I would either: a. Install the Koni Sports w/ your perf springs (which sounds like the combo for me in the future), or b. Get a coilover system from Harold at HPA and sell me your perf springs and bumpstops g/l

There you go Only thing is you'll be paying the install labor twice but if you don't want to pony up for the full coilover now, it sounds like a good plan...
