convertible roof top replacement

Hey guys,
new to this forum, i just picked up a 97 Z3 and am loving it.
The only issue is that it has stock 16 inch wheels and the back part of the plastic window is scratched up. do you know where i can get a replacement for that and should i get 18 inch alloys..?

Thanks

Hey I used to drive this car too. You have the 2.8L 6-cylinder or the 1.9L 4-cylinder? Stick or auto?

I think there is a shop in Tin Hau, Ching Fung St. where they do convertible repair. 銅鑼灣清風街15號地下 電話: 25712600. Not sure if they have moved, you may call and ask. Yeah, the back plastic is easily scratched. I use to put a towel before I fold down the top to avoid scratches.

If you have the 1.9 which is what I had I suggest you stick with the 16". 18" rims you probably needs to go wide for the look, but the pick up and fuel consumption will suffer.

I had fun with the Z3 and still miss it.

I have the 1.9L and was speaking to someone else last night and they said stick to the 16", if i upgrade it to 18, i wont have enough pick up lol.. hilarious.. Its a auto so i have to drive easy when going up hill or i'll simply burn my wallet away. I think i'll take your advice as well and stick to the stock rims, they are not that bad..

Putting a towel is a smart idea, its already scratched up so i need to get that replaced, i'll try calling them tomorrow and hopefully they are still open!
Thanks buddy!
