Taillight tint removal

I got the tails on my e90 lci painted a smoked look and i'm kind of wishing I didn't... Is there any way I could remove the paint without damaging the lights ?

Trade them on here for some stock ones.. plenty of people probably interested in these.

Yeah thats true it would have to be local though because I dont want to be without tails while im waiting I was just wondering if it was possible to remove the paint and polish them back to normal

You're pretty much screwed You could try scratch polish and see if you can polish it off, but you'd more than likely mess up the tails doing so. Maybe one of those headlight cover polishing kits? Should be gentle enough to take a layer off but not so much to ruin the tail covers?

Hang in there. Also, don't make the same mistake I did and try to overprice them. Do your research, hit a sweet spot with the price point. I pretty much blackballed myself trying to sell OEM parts based on the dealer value this way, not realizing everyone and their mother has them
In the end, I just said anyone who wants to pick up a 328 E92 OEM exhaust system, OEM tails, Grilles, and intake from NJ just name your price and come get it

Haha yeah right now Im just looking for a straight swap because I dont have another set of tails I could use so it makes it a little harder
