I haven't seen any info about it, I even emailed the BT people and they weren't any help figuring it out either.

Recently my car has thrown a 12000 (coolant temperature sensor) and a 12003 code. Has anyone experienced this before?

Do you happen to be able to look up what the codes 93C8 and 93B6 are for? I don't have a BT tool at the moment =/

93C8 says MRS: Airbag front sensor, left
93B6 says MRS: Seat belt tensioner, rear right

I replaced both the rear right tensioner and the driver airbag, yet the seatbelt and airbag lights are STILL coming on! Any thoughts on why or what to do? Am I destined to get ripped off by the dealer?

Did you unplug any of the yellow harnesses under the front seats while you had your battery connected? This will throw an airbag error and needs to be reset by the dealer...not sure if BT will do it.

Current Shadow Fault Codes

2FCA:

Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

2FDA:

I just had the software update and I'm desperately waiting for the old HPFP to fail so I can get a replacement and get my GIAC tune back on. All I have are these shadow faults. Are they HPFP related?

I have the same exact codes and I just got a software update for my long cranks, so same situation here. These codes must be HPFP related, at least I hope so.

I hope it's a sign they want to see before replacing the HPFP. I don't want to wait to get a limp mode.

Here's another code. Not sure what it means yet (can anyone help me?), but it gives brake, ABS, DSC, and 4x4 (I have a 328xi) warning lights.

Anyone know what this is?

5F39:
Clutch gearbox-ECU: VG-clutch defective - position of clutch unknown.
Error will cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed

Funny how people think so poorly of the dealer and the big ripoff it is when you just spent way more on a tensioner and airbag then the actual repair would have ever cost. It's a wiring issue that required improved pins. There's nothing wrong with the airbag and tensioner. Take it to your dealer. Have a nice day.

Also some of these fault code descriptions are way off and/or inaccurate compared to the real thing.

Your vehicle is very unlikely to have a long crank again because the software update allows the vehicle to be started at a low fuel pressure. Therefore, it doesn't matter if the residual pressure has bled out of the rail. If your pump is going to fail its going to happen while you're driving. Shadow faults are irrelevant in most cases when diagnosing and communicating with BMW NA for replacement of defective parts.

I scanned car today ith BT Tool, after removing Procede and prior to a dealer visit.

I also have these exact same codes (and the latest software release).

Does anyone have any idea what these would be or what they are related too.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I had removed my tune, cleared all codes for my first HPFP replacement and I had those codes. Got my car back, HPFP replaced under warranty with no issues. I don't believe they're anything to worry about though...
