Sirius Bracket Question

Can someone tell me what module is that underneath the Sirius module on the trunk's left side?

Bonus question, the diagram to that Sirius bracket shows three mounting screw holes meant to install another bracket or so on top.
In fact, every other Sirius bracket (e.g. with no fan) also has the three holes. Can anyone guess what is meant to go up there??

Any ideas?

I don't recognize the little black box with the white cable going to it in the front. IBOC splitter maybe? Maybe someone retrofitted the IBOC module under the Sirius module?

Looks like I might be right.

Code:

That is what I thought originally, but do not think it's the IBOC.

I have my Sirius module on the bracket already and have an IBOC module which I retrofitted for HD Radio on my non S653 e90 (it is dangling now around since I haven't thought of where to rest it yet). The IBOC and Sirius modules are physically identically the same and one cannot screw on top of the other sideways as it shows on the picture. The screws simply do not match against each other the way it looks in the picture.

I believe this photo is from a Canadian e90 and so I am wondering whether this other module is some other non-US module, DAB, TV, etc?

I had seen the realoem description above already, and concluded that the "/" means alternative modules that can be installed in that particular bracket, e.g., DAB or SDARS or IBOC.

Also, the little black box in front with the white cable is another mystery. I have the IBOC splitter too and it is completely different.

Uhhhh.. isn't that entire unit is the sirius module? Look at your pics, then look at the real OEM drawing. The left side of it sticks out a bit further, but it's one unit.

My car has idrive, sat prep, bluetooth, bmw assist, etc.. and there's nothing on my left side except the connections for the sirius. I do have the same unit on the right, and that same weird unit in the middle of the two.

Can you get the part number off the little box in the front, between the two modules? I'm very curious as to what that thing is.

That's the mystery box.

Regarding the Sirius module, I think it's just the picture, there's only one module there not two. Also, I think the three screw holes at the top are for the Video Module. See screws pattern in the attached picture. What I am thinking is that the trunk center liner in these cars has to be different since the floor level will be higher because of the two modules on top of each other.

I meant between the Sirius module and the TCU, the little black box with the white cable going to it.
