I have a feeling there are a lot of people who haven't yet paid sales tax on their procedes too.

No one likes to take shots at the procede more than me, but in all honesty, I doubt either unit has a power advantage. In this case power is dependent on the boost you're running, the AF ratio, and the timing you're pulling out.

I'll connect a boost gauge tomorrow to verify boost, but assuming its making the same 14psi midrange to 12psi @ 6500rpm, power should be almost identical. I expect around 315rwhp in my step car on 91 octane.

Well, considering that I have delt with them for 10 years, know the owners personally, and the guy who does the tuning has been my friend since before he worked there. Omar at the front desk told me that it will put out the same power as the procede. So call back, tell them that you spoke with ADAM LORD, and speak to Omar. I bet you will get different feedback then. Its so funny that what people have has to be the best. Other people can do the same, especially being the bmw performance pioneers for 25 years, I am sure that they can make max power. They have done it to every single bmw I ever owned in the past!

I don't like to copy emails I got ( from AA/Omar ) here into postings. AA told me about those numers ( 45-55 rwhp gain and 60-75 torque gains, compared to stock ). Word. They also mentioned that they could be a lot more aggressive if they wanted to be but there is no need. So what's your problem ? Talk with your friends, MR. ADAM LORD . I expect that the AA/XEde is a great product. Just different, as already mentioned.

Cheers
Eugen

The install is basically identical to the Interceptor/Procede install from what I can tell. The major differences are the Xede doesn't have a dedicated ground wire, and the Xede has two extra wires you can use to install a map switch (I didn't install one, who would ever want to turn it off??)

After a few test runs I can say the car feels great, a definite improvement over my TT (which felt great compared to stock). The power is very linear and smooth, and it pulls hard up to redline. No shuddering under full load on the highway. I can say 100mph comes up very fast now (private roads, of course).

Now I'm off to remove the stock runflat tires in exchange for some Nitto 555Rs and General UHP's. Looking forward to German Invasion!
I am happy to hear everything is working good. Enjoy German Invasion.

AA provides great products with support to the community. Great job

Don't understand why the 'others' always have to chime in to threads with nothing but negative things to say...sad
