side grilles on se bumper, can they come off?

Does anybody know if they can be uncliped and taken off? I wan't to know if anybody has done it first before I go and break them . I saw on a DIY people saying they cannot be taken off but it looks like they have clips?

I know the middle grille can be taken off but the grilles I am talking about are shown in the picture below:

Thanks!

have to remove whole bumper to access. it easier to paint in place looks at these two diy's if that what your looking for. i can only assume since your car is black you want to keep it all black

Do you know how they come off once the bumper is off, is it just clips that are too hard to access or torx [star scews]?

EDIT: I know why now, it is clipped on there but in order to take them off you need to push them back futher [like the middle grille] but there is other items in the way preventing you from fully unclipping it.

Cheers for the diy I might use the 2nd method.

You can brush paint them after masking the bodywork, its a bit boring though.

Ultimately, as I have found, the stone chips from high speed driving make them look rough in just a few months.

Am seeking more ideas as they do look much nicer in black!
