F10 touring as unmarked police cars-watch out!

On my way driving home, I notice a f10 touring with police lights flashing, an a car getting busted ahead. So this is why there were so many f10 tourings in a group the other day parked by North Lantau Highway with the police nearby. So if you guys see some f10 tourings on the highway, they are unmarked police cars, watch out!

That's right! I was going to post this yesterday after seeing an F10 Touring on No. 8 N. Lantau Hwy on Saturday noon. I think it was Sophisto Grey colour.

There's 2 in yuen long highway one comes from teen shui wai.. Think it's gold color ish

are these limited to touring models?
my friend told me that those police cars are 535i

I'm around there alot. Yes, it's sophisto grey. Like 6 of them at once. Very suspicious, and it only confirmed my suspicions when the police lights turned on.

I don't think it's limited to just tourings, but at least we know tourings are one of those cars now.

I get used to look into how many ppl on the car. If only one person (only driver), you don't need to worry. Two policemen are required if it is on duty!

if you bought one (F11), I think you will be the fastest one as all others will just let a F11 passing them instead of let a F11 chasing them.

I am assuming the F11 tourings are also armoured? If I am not mistaken, BMW Security Vehicles division handles the "special" cars like police or armoured cars. Logically it would make sense since if any gangster decides to unleash their gun and bullets on the cop cars, the policeman stands a reasonable chance of suriving the attack, the car won't be disabled by the attack and can continue to pursue them. Although I wonder how much the extra weight impacts the performance and handling of the touring compared to the regular touring? Also how much extra horsepower do these f11 tourings have over the regular tourings? I am guessing there won't be the electronic limit of the 155 mph top speed like regular bimmers.

saw one on tolo highway pulling over a random motorbike today, confused me so much until I realised that it was the 5 that was a police car and not the bike. 535 too, how the hell can the gov spend 600k~ on a police car
