But I do agree that the RB turbos are better designed in this matter as they retain the original oil and water lines.

they could not provide the lines to me at that time so i had to order them without them. I probably needed to wait couple of months to get the lines considering how fast shop works in general. Also the front turbo was not aligned correctly so the intercooler pipe needed to be modified in order to be fitted.
I was aware that some work was involved and i am not complaining about it.
The RBs are a much better option right now .

I'm living in European side.
How can I buy RB turbos? I dont have any chance to take stock turbos out to send for upgrade which will cost me high.
and which seller haves (selling) RBs in this forum?

LSD doesn't help that much. LSD + good, grippy tyres should provide some traction. I spin my 275 tyres in 3rd gear at 60 mph.

that's with race gas/meth. He was talking about pump gas only, but soon that fueling issue won't be a problem

LSD helps significantly around 40mph + WOT, but not so much in 3rd. I still get a little squirmy in 3rd with about 70% tread left, lol.

My question to all of you is...

How long was the installation of these RB turbos? From pulling apart your turbos (if you bought a 3rd party set then please state that) to having them installed? I would not be able to do this at all myself, so HP Autowerks would be doing such an installation. The 3k price tag is not that expensive, but I feel that installation will be another 3k, haha.

Second quick question is regarding the tune. I know Shiv is perfecting his turbo-upgrade tune, but what would happen if I ran such RB turbos on the GIAC stage 2 race map? I know I would have to be very careful about methanol levels, but I check that nearly everytime I leave my house.

The questions might have already been answered so I appreciate the patience and help. Thanks!

i dont think the car would run right on GIAC (mine didnt) since it would be cutting power because of overboosting especially with the RBs and their stiffer wastegates. Best would be to go Procede since its proven to run great and offers as well meth failsafe.

RBs wastegates arent "stiffer". They are just adjusted tighter. If at any time with any setup someone is overboosting, it maybe because of an actuator that has been adjusted to far inward... which effectively changes the distance the wastegate flapper can open outwards to allow the exhaust gasses to bypass flowing across the Turbine wheel. Adjusting the wastegate actuator rod outward, will do the opposite (allow more gasses to bypass the turbine wheel due to further wastegate flapper travel outward).
