My right break right work perfectly fine. I pressed break and it looks fine and even in Reverse it's OK. But I still have this Malfunction Break Lamp. Can someone tell me what this means.

I had this issue and it looks like there is a TSB out for this kind of malfunction. Is it intermittent?

I'm not sure if it was the brake lamp or the tail light but I had an error on one side a while ago and when I took it in they said this is a common issue.
After they fixed it, it came back months later and they had to replace something on one side and it's completely fixed now.

Anybody know how to fix this? I can't even clear it with the bt tool. I got this malfunction after pulling the solenoid for the exhaust flap.

There's a TSB out for a faulty bulb holder. You'll need to replace your current bulb holder with an updated one.

+1

I had to get both sides replaced at different times.
