I hate to break it to you but they/dealerships are mandated to reflash your car now with HPFP replacement.. so don't be surprised if when you get it back it's down on power because most likely your Dinan tune is gone. Your SA probably didn't know this, but the tech working on your car does..

Yup, you're right... they flashed over it... made an appointment on Tuesday to have the Dinan re-flashed...

No big deal, cause the re-flash is free for the life of the vehicle

The wastegate retro didn't work. The car still feels lazy in Drive. I guess it's time for Cobb. Will load the tune tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

What do you mean by wastegate retro? Did the dealer replace your wastegates or are you talking about the software update?

If you are talking about the software update once you re-flash with the Cobb the wastegate rattle is going to be back.

The dealer reflashed my ecu because of an emissions recall #10E-A02. When I got it back, the car felt lazy and the sharp throttle response was not there any more. I brought it back for this Wastegate Retrofit software upgrade, which was supposed to help build boost more quickly and restore that throttle response. Well it didn't work so now I'm not going to waste any more time with the dealer and just install the Cobb tune.
I never had a wastegate rattle. I just wanted the car to feel the same as before the recall 10E-A02.

I had wastegate rattle when i first got the car and it went away. I just had the recall done yesterday and man does the car feel sluggish now.
Does the cobb tune address that?
I can live with the rattle. I miss the sense of urgency the car used to have and it's only been 1 day.

Yes the software update opens the wastegates around 30-45 seconds after you start the car. Since your wastegates are open it takes time for them to close and build boost.

The Cobb Tune keeps the wastegates closed which will most likely bring back the rattle. With the Cobb Tune you are going to have a serious sense of urgency, LOL. There is alot more power on tap.

I just installed Cobb Stage 1 - 91 Octane and now the car feels great.
The throttle response isn't as sharp as it was before the dealer reflashed the computer for the recall but all I can say is " Wow ".

Talk about bang for your buck.

I only put about 4 miles on the car and I think it still needs to adapt, but now the car is a torque monster. I love it.

I did a couple of 0 - 60 pulls and with a stumble from takeoff and a lazy ass shift from 1st into 2nd, it still managed to go 5.41 seconds. The 60ft time was a terrible 2.4 seconds.
With better driver skills, the car could do 60 mph in 5 seconds or less.

Do the community a favor and print out this thread and see what they say regarding the wastegates and if they could offer a map with open wastegates, (I know this will increase lag but for some it might be worth it).

I've emailed Cobb twice with no response, not exactly good support there.
