so i just used meguiars quick detailer and i gotta say i was impressed....but i gotta question does this stuff protect from uv rays? i wasnt sure but it made my seats look and feel new...

I'm assuming you're talking about Meg's INTERIOR Detailer, which I agree is a great product.

It is not designed to protect-- it is a quick detailer-- it is designed to clean and rejuvenate any protection already in place, so, if it IS doing any UV protection, it will likely be minimal at best.

Get some 303 to treat the inside of your car once every couple of months, and use the interior detailer to keep it clean at every car wash-- that's what it's designed to do.

oooo alright thanks for clearing that up for me.....where can get some 303 from would a local auto store carry it?

Autozone and Pep Boys don't carry it. I personally got mine from the local Boating/Maritime store. Then there's always their website.

Meguiars QID has some UV protection, just not as much as 303. It's pretty good for interior detailing. I like the matte finish and it smells great.

If your seats are leather, use a leather cleaner and conditioner instead. I use the Meguiars QID on the dash, but Zaino leather cleaner and Leather in a Bottle on the seats. I plan on getting 303 at some point.
