BMW Performance Exhaust Install
Just had a BMW Performance exhaust installed by a highly recommended shop (on my 335i Sedan) and although they did a very clean install, the exhaust tips stick out approx. 2+ inches past the rear valence (bumper). When I questioned this, they indicated this was standard for the Perf. exhaust.
Is this true or perhaps could they have cut the mid pipe a bit short thereby pulling the exhaust forward? Anyone have any experience with this? |

You have a sedan, which is shorter than the coupe so most of the exhaust systens out there make a shorter version for the sedan and a longer one for the coupe.
I dont know how the bmw pe wirks, maybe you have one for the coupe??? |

Perf. Exhaust
I thought of that as I purchased the exhaust used, but it came off a sedan as well. Additionally, the person I purchased it from was well versed in BMW so I assume it was the correct system. I will 2x check

Mine was the same, from what I've seen on here it's relatively "normal" Do you have an m tech rear bumper? Do the tips look really low as well?
I thought my installer may have screwed up with their cuts at first too, but I don't think the hangers would align properly if they did. |

I have the Performance Exhaust on the my LCI sedan and it sits great, no unusual protruding. I posted some pictures in another related thread but I'm too lazy to search
