I drive the same route every day. Never had a CEL yet, and never went into limp mode yet either. But I don't have PROcede either.

FYI, 76 is the best in CA. I have seen dynos that prove it and I believe is what Shiv and crew recommend.

i only have about 3k miles, but i did recently install the new map with slightly lower boost targets as i was throwing an occasional code at WOT.

now its running better than ever and i havent had a single problem with the procede or the car itself. i have a step/feb build date and still have yet to see temps over 255, and this is in south florida.

Chevron 91 octane in CA uses an Oxygenated Blend vs. Shell and 76 who uses Ethanol Blend. Chevron only does this in some areas during the winter time for emissions purposes. Some folks have compained of having some problems with Chevron 91 this past winter. If you're using Chevron 93, you're good of course... I would stick to Shell or 76. Also reccomend buying some 5 gallon containers and storing some 100 fuel and dumping a half gallon or more every now and then to make sure you're always slightly above 91 and never below. This will ensure you're never below the minimial Procede/Xede octane requirments.

Lucky you my man, I am in S.FL as well and cant keep temps under 240. I was at just around 265 one night coming back from a heat game but I pushing 130 on I-95 so that might be why . There have been some cold days that come and go, and my temps seem to stay about 10-20 degrees cooler than usual. Mike.
