Hi everyone

This may be a dumb question but if I was to replace the 2 x BMW OEM rear shelf speakers on a 2010 325i sedan with BSW BMW speakers - 4" L7 Logic 7 (BSW SPMR 4 SOF), should I be using the:
[*]L7 style mid-deep (55mm) w offset flange; or the
[*]L7 style mid-shallow (52mm) w offset flange??

The mounting flange is 120mm in diameter and 120mm between mounting holes.

I think the mid-shallows are for the doors whereas the mid-deeps are for the rear shelf...or I could have it arse about!!

I would purchase some tweeters also and cut out some holes to locate them next to the current mid-ranges (OEM install doesnt have tweeters).

Are you saying you don't have tweeters all l7 systems have tweeters or you want
more tweeters.

it's the deep one
it's the one without a lip around the speaker

i have a pair of the right ones with the tweeters for the rear deck if you want
but shipping to down under will be expen$ive i would guess

Thanks for your help. I was looking to pick-up a pair of the tweeters as I can get my hands on teh mids for the rear shelf. Sounds like I need to get the deeper 55 mm mids.
