Just got back from the show. Went for dealer preview night.

I must say its significantly better than last year. Really beautiful line of concepts, releases, and upcoming models.

Lack of exotics this year. No presence of Lamborghini/Ferrari. I expected to see Fisker there, very disappointed as they are just about to publicly release their Karma - alongside a $150 million venture capital investment.

Realized the 1M isn't ALL that in person, after I was obsessing over it online. The orange paint is not exciting at all. When you look at it directly it flourishes with color, then it fades and washes out along the sides down the doors. Not a brilliant orange metallic at all. Interior could have more suede. Seems like small patches. I just hope the car drives like an M. For 47k base..no angel eyes? Eh.

The new 6, z4, and 1 efficient dynamics were there. I was a bit bummed they didn't have the X3 M sport. Really looking forward to seeing that in person.

Didn't venture downstairs to aftermarket/truck areas. Didn't have the time, so no pics (sry).

All in all, the show was GREAT. I'm attaching a few links to my personal favorites. Many of the cars took me by surprise (ESPECIALLY the Scion concept). Also, Ken Block's Gymkhana 3 Ford Focus was a heart-stopper.
