So, I'm close to pulling the trigger on an upgrade, and want to make sure I buy the right bits and pieces.

Many thanks to Technic, VP Electricity, and everyone else who's chimed in.

In my 07 335xi with Logic 7, I'm replacing the front door separates with DLS 5.25 components, and the underseat woofers with SWS-8's. I'm keeping the stock head unit and all of the remaining speakers. I'll be driving the added speakers with an Xtant 403a amp.

Looks like I'll need signal summing, using the JL CL-SSI, and signal processing, with the JL CL-441 dsp.

I think that setup should do the trick. Anything I'm missing? Thoughts? Experience? Thanks.
