guidelines for procede update

I want to update to the new 1.45 (from 1.4) map. It's my first update, I founs the map and the 1.01 software on the vishnu forum but couldn't find detailed step by step instructions on how to connect the laptop to the procede and upload the new map.

any help would be appreciated.
