Upgrading subs in my 07 e90

Thinking about putting some new subs under the seats. I understand there are subs there already and i can do a direct replacement?

Questions.

Whats the best sub to get ?

Will I NEED an amplifier?

You will need an amp to make them sound good as most of the stock underseats are 2 ohm and most aftermarkets are 4

The base system and the HI Fi have pretty wimpy amps.

Also spacers and/or dremeling is needed for the factory enclosures.
