Whos running a suspension setup with RFT?

I know most of you say ditch the RF and dont run it with aftermarket suspension. How bad is the ride? I have a Xi and would like to close the front wheel gap.

Dont want to slam. I am thinking of KW V1 or Eibach and Bilstein (although Eibach dont make any springs for Xi)

Thoughts?

Just to give you an idea:
My car has: kwv3's, m3 rear subframe bushings/tension struts/guide rods/rear sway

and it rides MUCH softer on my 19" PS2's (235/35 275/30) than it did on my OEM 17" conti runflats (225/17). The bumps hurt on the runflats.

I have the eibach multi-pro R1 coilovers with the stock wheels and RFT's. The ride is still good at the softest settings. at highway speeds, it's actually smoother than the factory zsp suspension. I can feel more road details (compared to stock zsp) at lower speeds, but it's not harsh.

I've tried a number of different suspension set ups and bench marked each against the OEM Bridgestone runflats.

Nasty, nasty , nasty

Dont do it.

Yes, but UK's roads are worse than ours.

I'm running Tc Klines with Bridgestone Rfts right now. My coilovers seem to absorb hwy bumps better than my OEM zsp did but yes the city driving at slow speeds are not good at all. I won't say nasty but much less compliant than oem with non rfts.

I am running the stock 17" Continental run flats with H&R sports and Bilsteins on my 2011 E91 xDrive and do not notice a problem at all. The ride is firm but I like it. I was really worried that I would have to replace the tires after I did the suspension.

Does anyone know if the Continental's side walls are softer than the Bridgestone's?

I put KW Series 1 on my car with RFT last July. Had to really creep over speed bumps, and still bottomed out on occasion. Replaced the Pilot Sport RFTs last weekend with non-run flat PS2's and the difference is amazing. Better ride, more comfortable, and no more bottoming out.
