can anyone recommend some license plate LED that dont emit light to the street?
im looking for a license plate led kit but most iv'e seen posted are blindingly bright and emit a ton of light to the concrete, which looks rather ghetto(to me anyway). im looking for something that's brighter than stock but not intensive. anyone have any recommendations? ive read some older posts of some users putting electrical tape over a row of leds to cut down on the output but i have yet to see any pics of how this looks. i cant really have it emitting light to the streets cuz it's illegal here and cops love giving out tickets.

I personally like the bright LED's, got a new set that are brighter than my RD Dash I took out a few weeks ago. You can have em' bro, I think you live around the corner from me right? LB? You can mess with them and see what you can come up with.. or if your traveling plans have changed I'll see you Tuesday night over in Signal Hill at the meet.

just about any will work, but put electrical tape over them to reduce the amount of light as needed. Sounds janky, but it will never be seen, doesn't come off on washes, and you can easily control the brightness.
