I dig the yellow man, I tried it with mtec and with Nokya yellow bulbs....looked cool and even but I picked up a set of LUX v3 h-8's and I love them.....at eye level, the light rings are even, if you look at different angles it changes and the outer is dimmer. BMW made these AE's to be illuminated off one h-8, so as the light gets disapated the outer ring had to be dimmer because it travels further through the light rod. I think that gives our car a distinct look and the LUX leds are the best hands down solution for our cars. OSS and others look ricey and aftermarket as hell, I dont care who makes them, the led rings those companies use cheapen the look of the headlights. The complete blackout looks rice as hell too. Try the lux, I mean really dude....your gonna spend $600+ to have your headlights heated/opened and riced? Save that for other mods.

Meh, every single BMW here has either LED or HID rings. I wanted something different
What's weird is that these bulbs (Nokya H8 2500k 35w) are giving me errors on iDrive like they're LED's or something. These are regular incandescent bulbs? And $300 for LUX LED's? Fuck that. FYI it costs around 50-80 bucks to make them so the markup is crazy. |

I paid $229 for my LUX, and bro let me tell you....there is nothing comparable. Fuck it bite the bullet and do it. I had mad h-8's too (none with errors) some give errors and some dont. You can have it coded out.

30-40 bucks for machining, around $10 per LED, few bucks for LED driver and white plain box packaging. Here's your 70-80 bucks.

Have you tried / seen the LUX H8 V3 angel eyes? the outer ring is just as bright as the inner ring and it is also the same color - that is how i designed them to look. |

also, from your calculation you are wrong - $40 machining + 8* $10 LED's, a few$ led driver ( try 2 * $20) + other materials=== your talking $160 a set in materials

E92's have the ugliest inner ring. That shits so tiny if the AE is too bright it looks like a HID DRL. Personally I think the inner rings should be a bit dimmer so you can actually tell its an angel eye.

Have you seen the LUX H8 angel eyes, the 2 rings are almost exactly the same brightness with the LUX installed

My mistake. LUX is the only bright AE I've seen so far that shows the inner ring clearly. I hate the ones that just look like balls of light some companies go over board with it
