Possible to mod pre-LCI rings / eyes / AE to look like LCI rings?
I've been seeing the new LCI E9X's rolling around and I noticed that some have ridiculously bright angel eyes/rings/AE's. Asked a BMW service rep and he told me that those are the new rings that come with the "Performance Lighting" package on all LCIs.
Here's my question. Which ring mod will bring my rings as close to the LCI "Performance Lighting" rings as possible? LUX H8 V3 seems to be a good bet, as they advertise a side-by-side pic of the LUX H8 V3 next to an OEM LCI ring. Is the Camaross HID kit a good idea? The claim is that it wont cause heat damage, but that's contrary to what I'm reading on this forum. Thanks in advance for all your valuable insight, folks! |
