Does this fix exist for our e90's with seat mat sensor/airbag light issues

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...Q5fAccessories

Can't seem to find this part for an E90. Looks like it works well for the seat mat sensor/airbag light issues many of us are having.

Mine is out of warranty and not covered under the recall. Light comes on anytime someone sits in the passenger seat.

I dont see how you couldnt argue with BMWNA about this air bag light thing. Thankfully mine was in the recall when it was done. But id argue that it is a serious safety concern. Thats like saying something was wrong with the seat belt how could they deny a claim like that. But back on topic. I wouldnt trust that thing from ebay. I mean its for the airbag. Is a 27$ piece worth someones life? Just saying...id argue it with bmw till they make good and it gets fixed the right way.

Apparently this module does not effect the safety of the passengers as it will allow both airbags to function normally... I've tried fighting it with BMW.. no luck

This device is illegal in the US.

Like another poster said, do you really want to trust the life of your passenger to this device? While the seller says the airbag will work as intended, I doubt that he has a clue and certainly hasn't tested it.

What did BMWNA tell you? have you filed a complaint with NHTSA?
