Damn.....some of these personal stories are pretty amazing, and definately the exception to the norm. I guess most of us on here have paid our dues to some extent....I stand a little bit corrected. Good stuff guys, keep grinding........

42 here
...maybe not old but older than the average. My '06 330i is my second BMW, after my 1998 e39 528i. Both bought used. Always liked BMW but could not afford one until I bought the e39 in 2002, so I admire all the younger guys that are able to get one as their first car (mine was a 1970 Chevy Nova bought for $200). It wasn't until the BMWs that I started to get the mod bug. Have not done that much though, as other priorities always take more importance (mortgage, kids college savings, saving for retirement, etc). The things I've done are primarily cosmetic stuff, just for my driving enjoyment and the ability to look at the car when I park it and admire how good these cars look...and that's definitely one thing we can all agree on-whether younger or older. Now I just got to come out to one of these meets (that is after I do all my yardwork, get done driving the kids around......lol)

At the bear mountain meet, i feel like i was the youngest.
im 20(got my car when i was 19...not that any of you care and not bragging) basically how i got the car....Got a good job(i run and manage online store camaro5racing.com(if anyone has or knows people with 5th gen camaros send them to me!)) and bought used. but if i had to guess... there are a majority of people who are in their mid 20's, but also range to older fellow 40-50. pushing the median age to be around low 30's |
