Headlights

I have a 2010 328xi and my DRL are the yellowish color, if I want the white color that now come on the 2011 models, do I have to change the bulbs or the entire fixture?

I´d like a simple answer to this aswell..

I´m not up on the abbreviations yet and am just looking for a LED or similar solution to get my halo rings to do 2 things..
1. Look white in color
2. Be as bright as possible

The rings are halogen in color now and i have the Euro DRL functionality..

just a simple answer os a link will be fine. The sarcasm us noobs get you may keep for the next noob who wants a simple anser to a simple question.

thanks in advance

Installing these headlights will not void the warranty anyway?

Are you looking to replace the inner beams or the halos? For the inner beams, I suggest a hyperwhite replacement like the Xenesis.

For the price (~$200 and under) LUX are almost unanimously preferred. Just head to the vendor lighting section in the FS sections and see for yourself.

HID eyes are available and they are brighter, but you're dealing with ballasts and external wiring which I wouldn't want to mess with. the lux are pnp.

If you've got more money, OSS is essentially the best there is. They open the headlight and wire LEDs directly to the rings but it's more expensive ($400-500) and require your lights to be shipped to them.

Did I miss something? I see no sarcasm here.

Did you get a good answer? Different models take different bulbs. Lux has several verities, all of which have received many recomondations from the forum. I have Lux 5's , that are LED and very white and bright. GL.
