Fender Roll - Pulled Too Far
Help, I am looking for some input from those in the know. I had my fenders rolled, and they were pulled too far out for my taste. The fenders are pulled and the lip is flared out. The service center is apologetic and is looking into a fix. Does anyone know if there is a safe way to push this back; if even just partially ?
Any constructive help is appreciated. Thanks

looks like a clean pull, now you can run a lower offset wheel! but I don't think there is a easy way to go back!

why did you have them pull it, and not leave it rolled?

I don't think it looks bad. I probably wouldn't notice it if you didn't point it out or ZOOM in on it. I think it's that way for good now...maybe they'll give you monetary compensation for the "over roll".

i just got mine done as well... and yeah mine is pulled a bit as well... its from the shop trying to force the roll instead of taking their time. mine wasnt this bad and the flare isnt that noticeable so i just left it at that because messing with it would probably make it worse.
but yeah def the shops fault... sorry to see this and say this but... might have to take a hit on this one far as i know.

there is no going back.
you can: replace the entire rear quaters. Cut it and Bondo the life out of it. or Leave it because it looks pretty good and just ad a spacer in the rear |

have the shop pay to have it fixed.
if you try to resell the car and buyers notice it, you'll take a big hit in value. it looks okay by itself, but when you realize the front fenders have a completely different shape, it comes off as goofy. as for sticking giant tires in the rear and leaving the front oem, what's the point? to increase the already horrible understeer we have? |

I did not ask to have these pulled, just rolled. The owner is not happy with the results and wants to fix it, but is not sure yet how to. He is asking some people he knows who do body work.
I do not like it pulled, I just wanted the inside rolled. Be sure you specify to just have the inside rolled slowly if/when you have it done.

Man what the hell is that, when I had my fenders rolled at LTBMW all they did was roll the inner part
\_| to this |_|, there was still a lip on my fender just like OEM, the change was really impossible to notice but no more rubbing with ET20 265. |

Unfortunately after the pull there is no way to go back... The only alternative would be some body work or replacing the quarter panels.

If your going to do everything involved with replacing the rear quarters, GO WIDEBODY! M3 rear, etc...
But really, I know you you feel, OP. To us it's just something minor but to the owner, once one tiny thing stands out, it may as well be painted orange until it's fixed... |
