Please delete , figured it out, e92 has rear ash tray and rear console that is made of the trim and e90 doesn't

Hello guys Im looking at buying nicely kept used set of CF 2x2 trim, but he owner says it is out of a e90, but claims its good for e90 and e92..

The pieces all look very close if not exactly the same as my e92 trim.

Are the front door trim parts longer for e92?

Just wanted to make sure it fits before I buy it.. I searched this and came up with sooo many trim swap threads and nothing about this.

You're gonna have more trouble than just the rear ash tray and console not working.

The door trims for an E90 won't work on an E92 either. E92 (2dr) front doors are longer than E90 (4 dr) doors, and E92 has sail panel trim not rear door trim as in E90 - which won't fit either.

Then there's the front console trim. It comes in either 'with iDrive' or 'without iDrive' depending on what you have, and what he is selling - that might not work either.

So for all you're money, all you're gonna be able to use is the (2) dash trim parts, and maybe the front console trim if it matches yours.

Unless he's actually 'giving' it to you for free, better off waiting to find trim that is E92 specific...
