Aside from Gavin, I can't find anyone else who has done the 335 brake swap on a 328.

I want to swap all 4 corners...

I am getting a used set from a forum member who I presume got a BBK, and really need an expert to look things over for me. Gavin is MIA.

What EXACTLY do I need to make this swap work? Would I need the entire wheel carrier? This is all very stressful, but if it can be done smoothly I'd like to do it... Sorry for my lack of knowledge, this is all new to me.

Not sure if you need the wheel carrier, but they are different part numbers, so I would guess "yes".


you'll definitely need the brake caliper carrier though, which is #2 here:

I just did the 330i brake conversation. I got the whole kit from the member that sold it. I got the whole Caliper set up, housing, carrier, Rotors and clips to hold the pads. Everything should be already together. So when you put it on your car it should just pug and play. The whole housing came together for me. I just had my buddy put the rotors on and slap the Calipers and brake pads and I was ready to go. The only things that doesn't work it the E-Brake. Which I need to get the part for it. It like $10 bucks or something like that.

Gavin is the one who hooked me up with it and they came out so good. I love the set up. Plus I have the Calipers paint black and the rotors painted black and it came out sick. I hope this helps and everything works out.
