That must be very frustrating. I imagine, if it landed last week, you would get it this week. We live a nice life when we have to agonize over the delivery of a 3 series BMW, but still, it is a painful wait. I look forward to seeing pictures.

Mine is getting tinted tomorrow. I’ll get some pictures once I have it cleaned up and the tint is installed. I just have to find time to take some pictures, and some good weather, but I’ll get them posted soon.

I found a major issue with my car. It has too much power and there is hardly anywhere around here where I can unleash it. I think I'll have to move to the country.

I was also surprised that we avereged about 19.5 MPG. All highway of course, but I thought it would be worse.

We only took two pictures, one at the dealership, which I don't have with me, and one here. I know, lame picture. I wasn't even trying to ge the car in the picture, I took the picture from my iPhone for an entirely different purpose. Anyhow, once we have some nice weather and I have some time I'll get a few more snaps.

Nice! Last second picture with my iPhone and the only one I took on the trip home. I'll be taking more soon. Still, it looks pretty clean after about 700 miles.

An update on my car, at least progress, talked to the BMW ED office, to see if they can check the status of the car, and what could maybe be holding up the process, and they said that the car shows it was released to trucking company and was in transit. They went ahead and contacted the trucking company to see if the trucking company knew when the truck would arrive, ad the trucking company responded they delivered the car already. Will have to contact dealer soon to verify, and schedule appointment, but at least progress and hopefully have car soon!

I'm no photographer, but I took some quick snaps before going out for a drive this evening. Finally, some decent weather, so I had to take advantage.

I know, I still have the Steve Thomas license plate insert in. Looks lame, but props to them for their help in getting me this car. They are second to none.

nice photos, and nice looking car! :-) I'm debating on what tint I want to get. I'm pondering 50% - 35% (back sides-back window) wasn't hassled with those percentages on my current car. yours looks ~35% all around, or ~20% all around

Great pics, your car is super clean and looks great. E90 M3 are rare, I don't think I have ever seen one.

I have LMB and black interior (click on link in my sig to see pics w/ tint). I got 35% sides, 20% rear ... quite pleased with it. With the black interior, whatever tint you get will look a shade darker.
35% lets you see into the inside of the car up close, not like completely blocking it off. 20% on the rear ... pretty much impossible to see into w/ the black interior.

My neighbor has an '11 128i, silver on black, with 20%. Looks really good on silver, but you call more attention to yourself ... 35% is pretty safe IMO.

Hope that helps.

Congrats on finally getting your car! I cannot even imagine how tough that wait must have been. Especially the last couple of weeks.

My tint is 15% all around. If I had an opportunity to do it again I would go 35% all around. I still like it, but would prefer the 35%.

They are uncommon. I have two kids, still in car seats. I'm so glad they have a sedan option. I'm bummed to hear the sedan won't be available in the next iteration of the M3.

I agree, that's a perfect combo. I had 35% all around on my 335i and I wanted a bit darker, but 15% was a little too much. 35% on the sides and 20%/15% (20% not an option with the F1 Pinnacle, they ony have 15%) on the back would work well.

The good part is, with SG, the 15% is okay. I wouldn't like 15% as much on my sparkling graphite 335i.
