UUC Front & Rear Sway or M3 Front or rear Sway?

I have finally lowered my car with H&R sports & konis. I'm getting ready to install front & rear sway bars. I need some input whether I should go M3 or UUC for my E92? Does anybody have good info involving these?

I run the the m3 front sway bar. I didnt install the rear because it is too thick for my stock differential. Once I get an LSD, I will throw the rear sway on.

I like the improvement the front m3 sway provided. Adding the rear would really feel nice (just need to make sure my shoes are planted enough... hence lsd). So, I can vouch for M3 sway(s).

Cant offer anything about UUC

So, it sounds like M3 sway bars are the way to go. So, unless I go LSD, I should not get the M3 rear sway bar?

I don't get it. Some of you claim this is one of the worst "understeering" chassis BMW has ever built, and you add ONLY the front bar, which, without a balanced rear bar, will greatly exacerbate the said "understeer."

Most of the time I don't think ANYONE in this subforum actually knows what they're doing save a couple of the vendors that actually manages to drive these cars as modded on the track.

Damn, I actually agree with the Hack, for once

Get the M3 bars front and rear. It's a well balanced setup

+1

And most don't even try to use the search function. There's loads of information about (i) how a sway bar works, (ii) which ones exist and (iii) whether you should install only the front or rear.

FWIW, I have the M3 sway bars and am quite happy with them.

UUC makes a quality product, buy with confidence.

Oh, and going with a larger front bar (as already stated) will make an already understeering car that much worse.

Just wanted to add to this. Remember that all this really depends on how your shocks and springs were tuned. I went with Dinan's setup (springs, shocks, bars and plates) and it still understeered after I installed it. It was only after I widened the front tires that it really improved. Dinan tuned it with their wheels (265/275). M3 bars might work well on some setup but poorly on others.

Suspension tuning is something that baffles even F1 engineers. Be really careful when you mix and match suspension compents unless someone has really tested the combinations you're looking for or you're willing to be the test driver.
