I have a Captivate that gets good battery life, as good as the iP4. After rooting, OC/UV kernel, custom ROM, etc... It's way better. However, my point is that when stock, it was similar to the iPhone.

People don't know to do shit like turn off Live Wallpaper and shit like that. That's not about the OS not being able to take advantage of the hardware; that's about the user not knowing that all these gimmicky and useless features are just eye candy and completely unneeded.

Same dilemma and had to choose Thunderbolt to get on VZ's LTE 4G bandwagon 2 weeks ago. Huge difference from 3G. When outside, browsing the web on the phone is faster than my PC at home. Switching from BB to Android has its learning curve but it's not too bad. It's getting easier.

BTW, VZ's 4G network was down all day yesterday. The reception was shitty but you could still make and receive calls OK. So the network is not iron clad yet and I am sure with more subscribers pouring in, it will be having difficulty accommodating the load from time to time.

Anybody having problems with thunderbolt syncing contacts with their 335s?
