electrical warranty
hi everyone!
i live in los angeles, ca usa. my service is due but im afraid they void my service due to tapping the electrical wiring. i upgrade my sound system by adding an aftermarket amp and sub. i really dont know their policies about it but i have a plan where they cover my service including maintenance and electrical stuff for free. so my question is, if they notice that i tap their electrical system, is that consider voiding the warranty? thanks |

If you have a problem that can be attributed to that, then yes, they can void your warranty on electrical stuff. Good reason to use the Technic harness and not cut any OEM wires.

They can void it for any reason they want, as long as there is proof that what you did caused damage to whatever needs to be fixed. They wont refuse to replace a broken spring because you put new speakers in.

Thanks for The time to reply! I really appreciate it!
It's just kinda sad to know they can do that! I really don't want to regret upgrading it but atleast I know what to say when I bring the car for service. Thanks so much.. |
