Check those guys out. It will be $249 with a lifetime warranty. They have done my last 3 cars, and also do a lot of the car lots in the area (including BMW, Lexus, Infinity, etc) |

Custom Sun Control on Hwy 41 near Marietta. They've tinted my last 3 cars with Formula One. Not cheap but fantastic work.

If you dont mind me asking, How much did they charge you for your BMW? Thanks for your help. Im going to Marietta for Thanksgiving and might get it done then. Oh and also do they cover your dot matrix. Hopefully they do

Sorry have been out of town for a few days.
Formula One, yes. I am 35% all the way around, I hate it with a passion(only because last 2 cars were 5%), and no effect what so ever on my CA. |

Wow, I think you have officially convinced me. As good a matrix job as I have seen.
Is there a particular installer I should ask for? BTW I see you have a 2006 330, make sure to get your airbag pad recall done asap. You could be putting passenger occupants in danger. |

I waited on the car and it really seemed to be a team effort. My suggestion would be try to find a time when they are not busy. They don't rush - took 2+ hrs, but might just be good to make sure they can really take their time. I also like that they tinted to the tops of the windows so when you roll down, it looks factory. I know some shops shortcut and cut off at the window seal. Let us know how yours turns out! |

1) Running the film all the way to the top, to look "factory", or 2) Stopping about 1/16" from the edge, so that the film doesn't eventually get pealed back from the squeegee effect every time it is rolled up into the top gasket. Any comments or experiences? I'd appreciate it. For my month-old Montego Blue / Black interior e92: Front-windshield just done yesterday: "3M-Crystalline 70", ceramic, http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...ineWindowFilm/ and scheduled for next week: "Johnson InsulatIR 40" for all the rest (glued on, over the difficult dot-matrix areas). http://www.johnsonwindowfilms.com/IR.php Doing the FRONT windshield was unexpected. I was told that this 70% Visible Light Transmittance film doesn't violate the "No-Tinting the Front windshield" law, as this film is not for Tinting, but for IR and UV blockage. Also, my shop just finished doing over a dozen of the city/county police cars, so that's a pretty good reference <grin>.

4sevens,
I used AllPro tinting in Canton, and have been very pleased: http://www.allprowindowtinting.com/a...window-tinting Roughly $350 with a lifetime warranty on tint and workmanship. Were you driving the M during OLoA? I was in Greenville for the event and saw you run. Actually got a couple of pics of the car I think. Cheers Todd
