Brake Light Brake Light On (Car on red lift)

Okay, I have had this dreaded symbol for the last two weeks. So this morning I finished installing pads and new sensors. Symbol this shows up.

Anyone with a BT Scan Tool available to reset this? Heck where can I buy a scan tool and do it myself. Makes no sense for BMW to make cars like this. Seems like a sure fire way to keep you coming to them for simple stuff like this.

Any help would be appreciated.

All, I have the same problem. Brake sensor broke, I replaced it and reset the light via the manual method. Now the service for brakes show miles remaining at _ _ _ _ _. I have the red brake lighting and red car on a lift... Bought the Bavarian Technic tool and no percentages are showing next to the amount remaining. Tried to manually adjust the value still no luck. replaced with another sensor, no luck. IDEAS?

I simply can't get the light to reset using any method...

I had this issue last year. I had to take my car in like 5 different times because the light would keep popping up. BMW NA somehow remotely reprogrammed my car and it went away.
