I would say if you live around the streets full of potholes, then it would be a wise investment.
but who drives BMW in a neighborhood street full ot potholes.

I take it that you've never been to Boston, if you're not careful you'll fall into the BIGDIG. |

I got my tire insurance when I purchased my e90. I got 2 nails on my rear left tire even before a month! Taking the car to the dealer and picking it back were pain in the a**, but it was totally worth it, since the cost to replace on 16" RF came out to $258.87!!
I already got more than half of what i paid for the insurance back, and I am really glad that I have it for 5 years. I would get it if your area has a lot of pot holes on the roads, and you can also consider getting tire/rims insurance from Geico if you are insured with them. I heard it is way cheaper than getting it from the dealer. Unfortunately, I am not insured with Geico, and did not know about it when I purchased it. IMO, it's something you should get it either from the dealer or from the geico. Just my $.02 to share. |

I've had my car for 2 months now. I payed $500 for 5 years. Just got a single nail in my back right 162 18" tire. $450 to replace it. Oh if your not aware of it, run flat tires CAN NOT be repaired, but have to be replaced. So you do the math.

I got the 5 year warranty for $600. I already got a flat tire and when I went to my local dealership, they said the tire insurance wouldn't pay for it so I had to pay for the new tire/labor. But my mom called the dealership where I got my car and I think she got the money back.

Tire Warranty only pays for Road Hazard or defected tires.....
NOT FOR A FLAT......

"complete" coverage over RFT/wheels. I think it includes replacing the run flats if abnormal tire wear is detected, if somehow you just totally blow up your tires(nails, etc), wheels got bent or curbed/scratched, etc.

I purchased the wheel/tire insurance from my dealer at the time I bought the car. It was through an outfit named CNA National which looks like it is connected with Continental Casualty Co. Policy was for 3yrs and I got it at the dealer's cost which was $250 w/ 0 deductible. Just another negotiation. While it also covers the 162 wheels, I do not expect the 330i sport pkg. Bridgestones to last more than 3 years ... if that!
