Head porting , valves

Is it worth doing it ? I was in a machine shop they also do engine rebuild in Jersey and they had pictures of all these American muscle engines they've done , and I've asked him how much is it going to cost to get it done on a 335i He said 800 for the head and 400 for the valves, so I'm wondering is it worth doing it ?

That's a decent price. Get it done and give us some dyno numbers.
