I was told it would hold no problem. I actually wanted to go with fx300 but the vendor I purchased it from assured me the fx100 would hold. They said they have ran it on their upgraded turbo 335i.

Formerboosted how is the twin clutch treating you? I might go that route

Whoever said that to you should be held accountable then. Do you have that in writing? CM rates their clutches for a reason. A quick search shows me the FX100 is only rated for 425 tq. You should have that easily. I don't think this is a CM problem, but another company selling you the wrong clutch.

I love my twin disc. It hasn't flinched every at anything I have thrown at it. I have held over 500 rwhp on a number of dyno pulls on a Mustang dyno without problem. It does chatter on engagement, but 2k rpm releases get rid of that almost completely.

Thats what i thought the vendor told me to call cm lol CM told me to call my vendor. Did you buy any chance see the HP rating on the fx300. Its very frustrating I will try with the vendor one more time on monday before i make a big deal on the forum.

I will either go this route or fx300. Just sucks I have to eat install on something that is not my fault.

From what I read, the FX300 goes to 525 tq. The FX400 goes way up to 675 tq.

I hope you can too my friend. I did the work on my clutch myself and I wouldn't want to do it twice.

+1 That sucks if thats the case!

Contact the vendor and see what they have to say.

CM is known to be a great company, i would rather use my stock flywheel however with the ACT clutch, unless you don't mind a bit of chatter..

Good luck however

I have contacted them. I won't say anything about them until I give them one more chance to make to make it right. After that everyone will know.
